Countdown to first AstroliJam Session - 6 June 2021
One week countdown
I am so excited at the thought of our 'Jam' session next week!
I wanted to send a quick email to remind you that the FIRST EVER AstroliJam is happening next Sunday 6 June.
We have astrologers who are going to be looking at
Rahu and Ketu
D60
Atmakaraka
Cards of Truth
Varsaphala
Jaimini techniques
and more!
I'm obsessed with Shad bala at the moment, so that might be focus of my prep??
Whatever you choose to prepare REMEMBER that 'we are not auditioning for a new lead guitarist here!' This is a jam - that is, the joy of playing with other enthusiasts - not for competition or kudos - but for fun!
So don't be intimidated from coming, feel free to come as a participant if you just want to witness some 'jamming' and remember that in Astrology we are ALL learners - there is no person who has ever learned everything there is to know about life and the stars!!
Inspiration
The inspiration for AstroliJam came from our last Year 4 meeting with Ryan Kurczak. Everyone was sharing how much they were looking forward to examing the same chart together. I couldn't wait any longer, so here we are welcoming everyone in the community to jam!
Subject
It was one of the participants who chose the subject of our 'jam' based on watching the documentary series 'The Last Dance' on Netfilix. Feel free to watch if you want some background OR come in blind if you want to experiment with what Astrologoy can share on its own.
Format
If you coming to share, please prepare a 10-minute presentation on your research into the chart. 10 minutes is NOT a lot, so we don't have to be too ambitious. This will leave us plenty of time for questions and sharing of techniques. You can share a presentation on screen, or just speak to the group.
There are still spaces available, so please feel free to forward this email to friends or colleagues who might like to jam with us. This is a case of the 'more the merrier' AND the less people we have, the more each person can share, so, it's win-win either way :)
