New Students, New Pathways …
Welcome to all the new students on the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program on teachable.com! It’s been great to meet so many of you on the Q&A calls in January and I hope you are settling in well and taking benefit from the video lectures you have already begun to receive.
Also a big welcome to those existing students who have joined the Certification Pathway. I have already assessed a couple of pieces of homework and am looking forward to receiving more!
Existing Students
While there has been a flurry of activity in the last 6 weeks with the Certification Pathway coming online, the essential magic of the Asheville Vedic Apprenticeship Program on teachable.com has remained constant - and that is its commitment to delivering foundational Vedic Astrological knowledge in a thorough, step-by-step way.
Are you an existing student of the program? I’d love to hear your experience and feature some of our students in the newsletter, so feel free to reach out and let me know where you are up to and what you are gaining from The Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program on teachable.com.
How I apply what I learned on the Program
Some of you may know that I host “The Vedic Astrology Podcast”. This month, I thought I would share with you some of the ways I use my notes from The Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship in the podcast.
The current episode is all about exploring the ‘Feminine’ in Vedic Astrology and Yoga. At 18:50, I talk all about the feminine rasis - so even those of you in your first weeks of the program can share in how applicable this foundational knowledge of Vedic Astrology is. I also explore the Shad bala of the female planets, The Moon and Venus, at 48:00. I hope you get a chance to listen to the podcast, see how profound and applicable your Vedic Astrology knowledge is, and let me know what you think.
Mentors and Tutors
The Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program is self-paced BUT there are Mentors and Tutors available to help you if you ever feel the need.
Mentors are current Year 4 students.
Tutors are graduates of the Program.
Contact details for your Mentors and Tutors are in Class 7 of the Rasi and Signs Course.
You can also sign up for monthly ‘Study Hall’ with me if you would like to attend.
Final Thoughts
I would like to finish by Congratulating our three new Practicum Year Students - Akhilesh, Craig and DD. Well done you guys! Wishing you well on your journey through the final year of the Apprenticeship!
Until our next newsletter, stay well and keep taking good notes :D
