October 2021
Welcome!
Introducing our new Program Custodian
Meet our Mentors and Tutors
The Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program is self-paced BUT there are Mentors and Tutors available to help you if you ever feel the need. (Details available from the course list after Class 7 of the Rasi and Signs course).
Mentors are current Year 4 students.
Tutors are graduates of the Program.
Each month, I’ll share the profile of a Mentor or Tutor so you can find the right match for you!
Today I’d like to Introduce to Fernando Raul Castro. He is an experienced Astrologer with a strong interest in traditional astrologies. His Year 4 graduating videos were on the Astronomical locations of the Nakshatras and Misconceptions between Vedic and Traditional Astrologies. He would be an excellent choice of Tutor for anyone on the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program and especially so if you are interested in the connection between Vedic Astrology and traditional astrologies (such as Hellenistic, Perso-Arabic, Medieval and Renaissance Astrology). Fernando recently organised and co-hosted the Congreso Online de Astrología Traditional, so he is a natural choice of Tutor if you want support studying the Program in the Spanish language.
I hope you will reach out to Fernando or any of our Mentors and Tutors if you are ready to invest in one-to-one support with the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program.
Who are the Students of the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program?
Did you know …
There are currently 48 active students on the teachable.com Program
Students come from all over the world …
The current student who has been with us the longest started the Program on January 8, 2020. And our newest enrollee began on September 9, 2021.
Where ever you are in our Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship journey, I wish you success in your studies!
Final thoughts
In closing today, let’s take the opportunity to wish our current Year 4s all the best with their final papers, videos and supervised readings which are all due on November 5!
And, let’s also send courage and enthusiasm to our current Year 3s who are working their way towards their Timing and Dasas exam in early December 2021!!
Don’t forget, even though the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program is now self-paced on teachable.com, you can contact any of our Tutors and arrange to have your work assessed at any time.
I look forward to catching up with you all again in November for our next newsletter. Until then, stay well and keep taking notes :D
